My 2000 Lincoln Town Car Power seat will not move forward or backward. I do hear the motor attempting to move when I push the switch forward or backward. Some research has revealed to me that the motor has a circuit breaker in it(possibly tripped). Does anyone know where the circuit braker is located and how accessable the breaker is. Thanks.
if you can hear the motor start to move... its probably not the breaker... it could be a bunch of things...these systems may be computer operated... i bet your seating has memory settings...it sounds really like your seat transmission is jammed... it does happen...there are pages of diagnostics online... that you will need to follow... these 2 places will have them.. or a factory service manual..alldatadiy.com or eautorepair.net..
