i already have the factory infinity audio system,7 speakers. im looking for a good deal on a sub and amp for a good price. If anybody would like to give me an opinion on anything that would be great. The model is a dodge ram 1500 sport SLT 5.7L. V8.

if you lived in los angeles ca.. you would only need to drive to 11th street and central ave.. in down town los angeles..
that street has more audio wholesalers that anywhere else..
you might also check out this web site.. it is closer to a place to get a correct answer

i have been under the hood of a bunch.. i don't pay much attention to the audio systems.. just to use the little battery memory saver is i have to disconnect the battery.. so the owner does not have to reprogram the entire stereo system...
but.,.. i would probably be the only one on this forum to answer you at all.. try the car audio mag... your same password will work...
most of my personal cars... you cannot hear the stereo in if the motor is running... after i sold my GTO.. it took 5 years before i could hear a vacuum leak... and i did not even try to turn that stereo on... driving down the street .. watching the plate glass windows vibrate.. watching people on the sidewalks put their fingers in their ears... watching everybodys heads flop backwards when i shifted gears.... but the smiles on their faces was worth it...
my sister took her first aircraft flight on a dc10.. she was nervous about it.. as they turned on to the run way... the engines revved up.. the brakes were released.. it started to push here harder and harder into the seat... she felt at ease.. then she realized.. it was just like riding in my GTO..
i am going to the winternationals this weekend.. i am going to take a digital audio recorder... i plan on doing some digital effects... recording a CD... of TOP FUEL SOUNDS>> to play on my friends car stereo...
my brother (rip) was into professional audio.. he worked in recording studios... usually as chief engineer in the technical department.. one studio he designed the sound system in.. had 4,600 watts of power RMS to the speakers... and they never blew out a speaker.. they broke them.. never burned one out.. your ears would bleed before the peak lights would come on..
there was an accident in there.. somebody turned the master volume all the way up.. and unplugged something.. it was so loud.. he was totally deaf for 8 hours.. still did not break the speakers... i know the madonna true blue album was recorded there.. along the the natalie cole unforgettable was also done there.. that was the ability of my brother to do almost anything with recording gear...

owhat do u recommend for under the hood mine is pretty much stock putting out about 390 hp

how about a remix... the world is alive when i tromp my throttle ... sung to the sound of music tune..
the sound of hemi.. fills my ears...
all this power... it is factory mopar...
there are 10 truck magazines full of experts on this site...... want another link.. i just try to answer peoples questions.. keep them pointed forward... keep the hood closed so they can enjoy their cars... theres nothing worse than an unanswered post..
you get the idea....
