I've just got this Civic Lx, 4 dr, 2010 for $15,641. Is this a decent deal?

How long is a piece of string?  Sound like you paid sticker minus the rebates....it's a Honda, what can ya' do? Do you like the car?  Ok then, thats what I thought. You did fine.

I am thinking of getting this same car in June. I plan to shoot for below $15k if I can. A friend of mine cut $6k off of a $25k Subaru price just last month! That is amazing to me. Anyone think it is possible to lower this down to $13.5k from the $18.5k asking price? Invoice is about $16.5k, but dealers get huge bonuses for selling volume from the manufacturer at the end of the quarter.
Also, I am hoping that then end of June will be a good time to buy since they'll be getting rid o the '10 model year.

Dealers can get you, especially if they know what you'll be paying elsewhere. "You can't find a better rate at any other lot." Happened to me when I got my RSX in 06'. Been thinking about getting a new ride, probably Acura or part of the Honda family. I'm doing my research this time. Friend of mine just told me about this site (truecars.com) to help avoid hearing the quote above. I'm ready to rock now, but my car was just in a hit-and-run last week! So, we'll see how that plays out first. Good luck to you tho!
