Hello- I am in the process of shopping for tires for my Tacoma and was curious as what options I have on tires and sizes. Right now I have the stock 245/75R/16 tires on there and I want to put some All-Terrain tires on. My question is whether I have to keep the same sizing as the stock tires or can I put 265/75R/16 tires on instead? Will this cause any problems (Rubbing, Speedometer problems, etc?)
Thanks for the help!
Chad

Hey Chad, I would shy away from getting a wider tire on your car unless you consult your dealer. Many times ppl opt for wider tires, w/o the proper wider rim and that causes rubbing on both the tires and car, in addition to the tire not fitting properly near the lip on the rim.
There are many tires in your size such as a Eldorado 245/75R16 FURY SPORT SUV 109S OWL or a General 245/75R16 GRABBER HTS 111S BW or Mastercraft 245/75R16/10 COURSER M/T or Couser ATII, Courser HTR etc...the list goes on...I have over 50 different fitments in your size as its a very popular size. So I am sure you will be able to find those aggressive all-terrain tires your looking for in your current OE size.
