fill out this form...

http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/    it is how recalls get started...

and ... there are several diesel specific magazines with forums on this site...

one of them is

http://www.dieselpowermag.com/index.html

your current password will work on that site also...

you will also find a bunch of articles on this search... and several different magazines

http://www.dieselpowermag.com/sch/02/cummins/articles/index.html?SearchSource=Group

be sure to post what problems you are having with them and any trouble codes you have retrieved..

the guys at those magazines forums  know the cummins  motors deep and dirty...

The problem is not the injectors, it's the filter.  I have a 2004, Dodge cummins with only 82,000 miles.  I got fuel at Wal-Mart (big mistake) and pumped pure water into my tank.  (People previously told me not to buy gas or diesel at Wal-Mart because of water being in the tanks, but I didn't listen.  Hopfully you will.)  I had the tank dropped and confirmed that I indeed pumped water into my truck.  (Again, thanks to
Wal-Mart.)  The bad fuel blew out my injectors.  I learned after this expensive experience that #1: buy fuel from good sources, and #2: purchase an additional fuel filter (2 micron) in case you get bad fuel.  I have read other articles about the stock filter, which is a 7 micron filter.  This stock filter allows large particles, including water, to pass through the filter directly into your expensive fuel system & engine.  The additional filter is only about $225.00! This is very cheap compared to new injectors!
