coils on cars with electronic ignition have to create a bright blue spark almost an inch long...
you can do this test with a screw driver in the cap end of the coil wire and position it 3/4 of an inch away from a ground...
i have had to change piles of coils lately.. they just are not lasting like they used to...
how did you repair the wires?????? properly install shrink tubing .. then install a crimp and shrink the tubing over it so its water tight???
did you need a wiring diagram for the engine????/ so you can ohm each and every wire from the ECM connector..
you have to check the powers and grounds to every circuit..
i have had to repair a lot of damaged wires.. from somebody with the munchies...
