While surfing the web I came across a blogger who asked me if I had the choice between a GS 350 and a M37 which would I chose? Well personally neither as I'm not a fan of Mercedes or Infiniti. He then proceeded to tell me that he was thinking of buying one of these which is why he asked me the question in the first place. He wanted comfort, performance, quality, but above all...LUXURY!! So I told him that the M37 made sense to me....only because of the issues that Lexus/Toyota are facing as we speak. However that was just my opinion.
So how about you?? Which of these cars do you see as performance, quality, and luxury? Which would you choose??

Since I'm the one that posted the original ?, I did not state that luxury was of utmost importance to me, but rather reliability since I live an hour from the dealers and did not want to be making 2 hours RTs to fix piddling problems. JD Power ranks Lexus 5 star across the board slightly better than Infiniti which it awards 5 and 4 stars. Forget Mercedes, but surprisingly they also rate Jaguar as high as Lexus.

The reason I added luxury was to spice up the conversation...you'd be amazed at how "passionate" people tend to get when it comes to comparisons. Yes both vehicles have scored well in the safety crash testing and none have been subject to any recalls...to my knowledge anyway. You should be fine with either choice...but as I mentioned before I'd stay away from the GS 350 and stick with the M37. At the same time the M37 is a newer model and the GS 350 needs a refresher.
