Does anyone know how to reprogram the seat belt bong'er to NOT "chime"  when the car is driven without the seat belt being fastened?

can you post a really great reason for anybody to chime in on this subject...

you do have to realize... that it is a safety feature...

you do have the ability to tone it down some... if you find the chime...  unplug it... put some duct tape over the opening where the sound comes back out..   several layers . this will reduce the sound output.. then plug it back in...   it will be muffled and not as bothersome...   the same chime is probably also the head lights are on chime.. and the keys are in the ignition chime..

the only problem... finding it...  they make it really hard to find.. and even harder to get at..
