stay connected
I drive a 2000 Honda Odyssey. This past week the interior dome lights flicker on and off while i drive and won't go off when i park. The "open door" indicator for the driver side door stays on as well. For two days, i've slammed the door hard and the lights go out, just to find at 8:30 at night that the battery has run down and i need a jump. In this situation, there's a steady clicking sound coming from the front driver side of the car. It's been really cold. What's up and can i fix it myself? Thanks.
without being there.. i would say that you might start with the drivers door interior light switch...unless the door is out of alignment...with the door shut... run your hand along the rear gap... is it even .. flush... or is the door out more than an eighth of an inch or so...doors do get bent once in a while...door hinges wear...door latch strikers come loose and move...
