My pathfinder starts from a stand still fine. at about 20 to 25 it shifts fines. But when it gets to about 30 it does some strange things. The rpms revs close to 6000 and feels like your in neutral. Could the tps sensor cause this or is this a transmission problem?  

Sounds like a cooked 3-4 clutch pack. very common problem for that trans.
