Street-legal, Production Supercar Sets New Mark

The Street and Racing Technology (SRT) team from Chrysler Group LLC arrived at Laguna Seca raceway 11/24/09 on a mission – to recapture the production car lap record at the world-renowned road course in Monterey, Calif.

Mission accomplished...
It all happened at the Laguna Seca race circuit in Salinas, CA. The 2010 Viper SRT10 ACR broke a lap record at the track, plus Dodge President and CEO Ralph Gilles revealed much about the future of the iconic sports car. Hint: no way the snake is slithering away. how come... no in car video?????   mount it on the roof, roll cage or dash...  somewhere we can all go for the ride...  all of us that cannot afford one...   make us drool...   if you set a GPS up so it is caught in a corner of the display.. you might be able to view the speeds...  without the expensive data video interface...  

Thanks waynep7122....  I've been going through and rechecking everything...  When it initially posted everything worked...  Guess something happened, but I think I've fixed it...  Good idea on the car video...  Regarding how to take one for a spin...  Not saying that it will definitely be the 2010 SRT 10 ACR BUT, you can check out what's offered over on http://www.drivesrt.com/en/track_experience/overview/.

its ok... i know what driving a high powered car is like... i miss it...  i still have dreams of driving my 66 GTO.. (nowhere near stock).. and its been gone for 25 years...   back in the early 80s... i got to drive a high powered dodge challenger..  what a blast..  i love the look of the new one..
i love the drivability.. the FUEL economy..   the being able to idle in traffic without overheating.. for hours..   the BRAKES  are also great...   like you krazy glued the car to the ground...
