The Ford SYNC was introduced three years ago at the Detroit Auto Show in January 2007. Since then the SYNC system has captured the minds of millions and have become extremely popular among the consumers when purchasing a Ford vehicle. The SYNC was unique to Ford and no other competitor came close to there technology. That is until today.Kia has decided to rival Ford with there very own SYNC technology dubbed the UVO.UVO will debut on an unnamed Kia vehicle sometime in 2010. The automaker will not release specifics until it formally introduces UVO next Tuesday at the International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.Like Sync, UVO is based on the Microsoft Auto software platform, now known as the Windows Embedded Auto software platform. Spokesmen for Kia and Microsoft say the Kia version will have features unique to the South Korean automaker. Now I'll be the first to say that competition is good. I like competition and crushing it with all the might possible. Will this be the fate for Kia or will Kia rival Ford and come to its level?? Any thoughts??Source: Automotive News Life.....It's not about how hard you can hit but how hard you can get hit and keep pushing forward, how much you can take and keep pushing forward! - Rocky Balboa
