my vent lights stay on after i shut my car off an i have to disconect my battery if not it drains any idea what it could be?
what is a vent light???? are you talking about the interior lights under the dash board???depending on the car.. if all the doors are closed.. there is a instrument cluster brightness adjustment knob somewhere on the dash...it could be if you have a pull out knob for the head lights.. that you have to rotate it slightly to the right.. if you turn it to the left.. all the way.. you will feel a little click.. that is the switch contacts closing and turning on the interior lights.. if you car still has its owners manual in the globe compartment .. it will describe how to turn off the interior lights.. post year.. make model.. and engine size or 8th digit of the vin number ... nobody cares what kind of car.. you have.. but it really helps in describing how to fix things.. there are just so many differences between car models and brands.. they all work close to the same.. but they have slightly different ways of doing it.....
