Well, I don't know what is a good SUV [model] for a first time driver, so I came here to see if any pro's would have any recommendations. I'm currently looking at some of the following cars:

BMW X3
Jeep Commander
Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer V6

I really like the Jeep Commander because of the style, but the size seems kind of big... Is there anything similar along the lines of the look of the Jeep Commander? [Boxy] My budget goes to 40k-45k Max [Not including the bloody 13% tax].

Also, additional information:
Not really good with cars [I don't know much about the "lingo" heh]
I'm in Canada [Canadian prices would be best]

I really like the look of the Cadillac Escalade as well as the Lincoln SUV, but the prices on them are outrageous!

What I look for in a car:
-Boxy
-Comfortable
-Enough features
-Good carrying space
-Easy to park
-Within my budget
-Worth its price
