I rep[laced the engine on my 1999 Dodge Ram 2500 Cummings with a 2003 5.9 liter cummings, basically the same engine.new engine will not accelerate. DRB3 diagnosed crankshaft position sensor (CPS) not active.New engine is not equipped with CPS!! the "Crown gear for the CPS mounted on the crankshaft of the old engine does not fit the new engine.Any advice on converting the electronic control for the VP44 fuel pump to work without the CPS.The entire harness form the vehicle from which the new engine came from is available.Engine side mounted computer as well as vehicle fire wall mounted computer. Only difference, the engine came from a 4X2 2003 Dodge RAM 2500.Thanks in advance for advice
