I am looking into a 95 chevy silverado K1500. Its been parked for about 4 years, and it ran when it was parked; now, it doesn't run. Not sure if it cranks; still have to look at it. Assuming it'll crank but not start, ideas on what's up with it? And if it doesn't crank?
By the way, I offered 700 for it.

totally depends on why they parked it..
which engine... V6 V8??
the nice thing.. there are a lot of those running around and enough in the junk yards.. that you can get a good used complete motor with the harness to drop in and plug in..
old fuel???? take a sniff at the gas cap....
you also want to not try it without a fully charged fresh battery...
not the one that has been there for years...
you also want to really clean the battery cable ends... with the battery out.. take the bolts out of the end of the cables.. pour hot water over the plastic covers... fold it over the ring terminal, clean it with a wire brush..
some of those years had problems with the intake manifold gaskets failing.. pressure test the cooling system before you try to start it... some of the parts stores have loaner radiator pressure testers..
