I have a early 2.3 liter engine, Carb and distributor, that I want to install in a 98 ranger that has a blown 2.5 liter engine with an automatic. can I swap intakes, controls etc. to keep all the electronic engine controls?
Any info would be appreciated. spmag99

thats a great question... for therangerstation.com
but.. i really don't think it will work...
all of fords later stuff uses crank sensors.. that have a tone or reluctor ring on the crank... to tell the ecm where the crank is...
find another same year 2.5... there is a hollander interchange manual that shows which motors fit which ...
