has anyone ever used anything like this? GPS system? how well do they work?  

there are so many....    to choose from....  you almost need a gps to guide you through the selection process...

i wonder when they are going to come with some kind of cameras mounted near each head light... so the stereo vision can alert you to cars you are closing in on too fast...      they could also be night vision cameras... so you could see an image of what is way out in front of you...   that might work better with dual cameras on the corners of the car...  about 4 inches between the cameras and 4 feet between the modules..  i guess thats a question to put to a DARPA contestant.....

how much money is in your wallet...

how many times you get lost...

how much you drive in traffic... there are some with traffic reroutes when traffic forms in some areas...

i want one that flashes red when i drive above the posted speed...

it would also be nice to know exactly how fast i am going..   like big numbers displayed... and perhaps a compass heading.. so i can practice when i take the boat out..

i wonder if they make one that i could use out on the salt flats.. so when i put the pedal to the metal... i know how fast i was going...

the ease of removing it from the window  might be a good thing also...    with a place to wrap the wires around and hold them while in the glove box or stuffed under the seat...

maybe even a pushbutton safe for it...  so the crooks don't break out the window and steal it out of the glove box or under the seat when i stashed it out of the way...
