I have a Saturn VUE and after the first 4 months, the car began to to have problems starting. If you turn the key, it will crank but it won't start. It does it mostly when the AC switch is on. if i turn the AC switch off it wil then start the 2nd or 3rd time around.

However, now it does it (doesn't start) even when the AC switch is off and if i try starting it, it wil finally start the start the 2nd or 3rd time around. I have taken it in about 6 times over the last year and they still can't figure it out. they said becaseu it is intermittent it is hard to diagnose.  Anybody have the same isssue or have any ideas? I'd like to make some suggestions to the dealership because frankly the dealership is doing about as little as possible right now.

Wonder if this qualifies under the lemon law?

was the check engine light on .. after you got it to start???? if so .. codes were set...   with codes... there will also be a recording of the  data stream when the code set..  

when the check engine light comes on.. and you take it in.. it is important to get the service writer to read the codes with his scan tool or code reader while you are there.. and write them down on the work order... and make sure they get on the copy that you get.. before you leave the dealership...

there is more than one saturn dealership.. but you better hurry...

some gm dealerships will also handle saturn as they also have the same model with a chevy tag on them..

does that model have the direct fuel injection system... probably...  it could be a whole bunch of things..

i don't have access to the wiring diagram for that model yet...

and it is still under warrantee.. at least until saturn closes it dealers next week..  or next month... i thought we the people just payed gm a whole bunch of money to keep the lines open..   and because of a problem with the penske sale.. the plug may be pulled..
