Need advice:
I’m looking for a dually. Not to many choices I guess either a Ford or Gm. I need to haul a boat that is 41’ long, weighs about 11,000 lbs. I will only be using this truck about 6,000 miles a year – if that. What is the best truck to buy? I want duel wheels in the back, 4 door, leather but I don’t know if I should go gas or diesel? Thoughts? Anyone out here stuck in a lease and wants to dump it? Or just want to sell you truck? Let me know. Must be white. Low mileage and fairly new. Thanks.

Ford is actually a more reliable truck than GMC. I like the Ford body styles better than any other truck. A good test is to look at what kind of Trucks you see being used on constructions sites and by independent contractors. I own Mahindra Navistar since last two years.

by the way...a 41 FOOT boat is a LOT of boat to haul around with a F350 or a chevy dualie..
i know this is an OLD post... but Ford makes pickup trucks in the F450 and F550 rating...
with significantly larger BRAKES...
i would imagine that GM also has similar sizing in heavy duty pickup trucks.. its just too early in the morning and TOO old a thread to think about it much..

Hello ThomasMeshinsky..
When it comes to buy a truck...I always prefer Ford. I had few experiences with Ford and all was wonderful. I am suggesting you two options hope you will like...
1: Ford Super Duty 2: F-150 or F-180
best of luck!

With mu personnel experience, i will prefer Ford. I have many friends who have this and have no complaints against it.
