do not start the motor...

no......   drain the oil...   with the drain open.. pour some more thin  like 0-30 or 5-20 oil through the motor...

you need to be sure when you jack the car up... that the drain plug is on the downhill side of the motor.. so there is no trapped oil in the pan..

do not start the motor....

if you have...  you have a lot more work to ***   if you have started the motor post.. there is a bunch more stuff to ***

the motor ran for about a minute before I realized the stupid mistake.  the stop leak is now floating on top of the engine oil.  can i pour in more engine oil to force the stop leak to rise to the neck of the opening, and suck it up from there?

TOW it to a shop to have them properly flush the stop leak out of the motor ....

i am almost sure that you have done severe damage to your motor by doing this...  and it will probably fail soon.. the only thing you can do is follow the instructions below...

since you have no money and you were trying to fix a coolant leak with a bandage...

changing the oil and oil filter several times....     pouring a quart through the motor while the drain plug is out to displace the stop leak on top of the head...   then running the motor for 3 minutes...     letting it cool a while... and changing the oil and filter again...

this might get the stop leak out of the motor....

putting in more oil to float the stop leak to the top is not going to work...

most engines have 5 quarts of oil...    but there is enough room inside the block and head for 5 gallons of oil..   this does not mean. that you have to put 5 gallons of oil in the motor...     it only needs 5 quarts or what ever is required ....

since i have not a clue of what kind of car or which motor you have... i will let this be my last answer. as i have said enough..

This is why you NEVER smoke a joint right before you work on your car!

hahahahahah!!!!!!  absolutely...

i once saw a fellow fill his radiator at the gas station with water.. then reached over and filled the master cylinder.. the windshield bottle and then the engine oil .. all the way to the top...

when he got in the car.. and tried to start it... white milky motor oil shot out everywhere...  he got out and looked under the car and just could not understand what he had done wrong...
