The harsh economy has crippled the Detroit Three in ways unimaginable. However you know what they say, there is always a light at the end of the tunnel. Today Ford announced that it made a 2.3 billion dollar profit. That's right I said it....PROFIT!! Something none of the Detroit Three has been able to say in a long time. There are some restrictions to this celebration as most of this profit was due to debt reduction and liquidity.
