Headlight motor runs but will not close the lens over the headlights.
They are stuck in the "open" position.
Has anyone else had this problem??

looks like those are the similar in design to other cars.. like fieros and corvettes..   and probably have a stripped gear inside..

so you might take the lazy one apart...  be careful to unhook the power to it...  it is strong enough to cut off fingers...

replacement parts are available aftermarket for corvettes... i don't know how close the motors are in design...

this article will give you a rough idea of what to look at and what to test...

the dorman part for the corvettes and fiero

Chevrolet Corvette 2004-97; Pontiac Firebird 2002-93; Saturn SC, Coupe 1996-91, replaces damaged gear inside motor

i don't know if this one will fit your car.. but you are getting close to the problem...  mopar might have the individual parts also...    as might a NAPA store...
