The left side brake light is not working. Right side is fine... And on the left, the reverse and turn signal lights are fine. The light works, as it comes on when turning the headlights on or locking the car (remote lock, lights flash).
I changed the bulb out, and it did not solve the problem. Is it a connection problem?
Please advise-- thanks in advance.

i have in the past.. had loose ground wires where the ring terminals are screwed into the taillight housing...
i have also had wires corrode and break in the tail light assy wiring ...
here is one of the wiring diagrams... for the turn signal and hazards.... you probably want to print this ...

and this one also... this one is for the brake lights circuit and other lights in the back...

looking at this diagram.... it might be a multiplex controlled circuit...
warning... do not probe wires with a test light... the brake lights seem to be computer controlled...
alldatadiy.com or eautorepair.net will have complete testing instructions for this circuit... you will probably need a scan tool with CAN that is specific to asian cars... ( CAN = controller area network) the ecm/bcm controls a bunch of circuits ...
if there is a problem.. there may be a trouble code set.. probably won't turn on the check engine light...
