I have had this car for two years....and from day one I have been taking it to the mechanics....twice the engine got flooded...
coolant flush
spark plugs
too sensitive cd player
manifold messed up
and now something about the oil seal is worn off.....
if that's not bad...
teh cost of the new one is only $45 but they are charging me 900 dollars for labor..
because they have to remove the engine and what not...
waht should I do?

is it leaking oIL???????

can they show you why it needs to be replaced????  where it's leaking...  i would think that pulling the transmission might be a lot easier.. but i don't work on those.

and ... how do you check that the work was done properly...

sounds like its time for a second opinion in person...

900 labor sounds high.
if you go to another shop dont tell them whats wrong just say you have a leak.{assuming you do}.
