I have a 1996 Grand Cherokee Laredo,on my dash it's indicating cooling sensor bad.Where do ,I find the sensor on my truck?

there are several temp sensors...
one called the engine coolant temp sensor.. that is for the computer...
the engine temp sensor.. is for the gauge...
both are on the motor....
but you did not say which of the available motors you have...
most of the parts are available at parts stores...
