The problem started like this. Start the engine, would stall out after about 5 seconds. A couple tries of this and would finally start and drive away. I suspected a dirty fuel filter. In the process of changing the filter, old rusty gas lines cracked and leaked all the way back to the top of the tank. Removed the tank, replaced fuel lines with rubber fuel line. Truck showed initial symptom right away. Start and run for 5 seconds and stall out, eventually would start up and drive away, sometimes restarting was more difficult than others. Last Sunday, drove to store, came out, same problem, however this time I could not restart. The truck starts and stalls out, cannot keep it running at this point. When I start it and step on accelerator, it immediately bogs down, like it's starving for fuel. This is a 6 cyl. 3.0 EFI. I picked up a loaner fuel pressure tester that I'm about to attempt. I was told this could possibly be electrical, as well. It is an electric fuel pump mounted in the tank, which I assume either works or it doesn't. Is there a possibility of the pump being bad, as it does start and run for a short period? Even after it stalls out, you can immediately restart, and it runs for a short period, then dies. The problem is driving me nuts. If anyone can help with any advice, maybe have seen same or similar problem, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

do the fuel pressure test.If that is ok then put a noid light on the injector wires and see if the signal from the computer is there.
