I have 2001 Honda Civic and it needs new struts. I was wondering where the best place to buy struts are and how easy it is to do them yourself? I'm just wanting stock style struts.

you will need a various selection of metric tools... as the suspension bolts are quite tight... along with a pair of coil spring compressors... i would also say a pair of jack stands to support the car ... and an angle finder... i always get the car up on stands... pull the wheels... measure the vertical angle of where the wheel bolts on to ... when you loosen the strut to spindle bolts the wheel alignment will change ... if you have measured it.... you can get it back really close.... when you install the new struts.... there is a lot more...
