I've been having a squeaking noise from my car for quite a while, but it seems to have gotten more constant lately.  I took the car to the dealer and found out that the "passenger rear caliper has seized."

That's not an issue since it's covered under my extended warranty.  However, when they replace this, they have to also replace the brake, in fact both brakes in the rear.  When all is said and done, it will set me back almost $500.

I'm only planning on having the car for another 10 or 11 months.  If I don't get this work done, am I putting myself in danger?  Or will I simply have to put up with the squeaking?
