I am in dire need of a solution to my cars AC problem. I am running out of patience and options. I only have 32,000 miles on the car and the warranty has expired. My car has the infamous AC SYSTEM Flashing light. I originally brought the car into the dealership and they replaced the cabin air filter and stated "All conditions normal". Brought the car back the next day and they stated "Air Compressor Failure". I had the AC compressor replaced and still have the flashing light. No cold air. I replaced the MAG Relay with the updated part number. No luck.
Took the car into a different shop for a second opinion. They state the sytsem has refrigerant, pressures normal, and compressor is operational. They think there is something wrong with the internal computer for the car???? To my knowledge that has nothing to do with the flashing light.
Here is all I have:
The problem is not with the AC Mag Relay. I replaced the relay with the updated one bought recently. Still have the same problem.
The compressor starts for around 5 seconds and then shuts off....
Anyone have any ideas?

i would ask for my money back on the compressor... as that did not fix the problem...
there are codes for everything...
did they write the codes down that the car had????? so you don't end up paying for the same thing again and again and again...
you are going to need full access to repair data..
alldatadiy.com
or
eautorepair.net
both of them have full diagnostic sections with repair charts to follow for each code ...

Hi, JLou, did you get your problem fixed? I have similar situation with yours, except my car is older, 2003 camry with 90k miles and the AC only stops cooling when the temperature gets hot!! It runs well in the morning and night, but stops working in noontime which is the hottest in a day.I first thought it was low on freon so get it refilled for 130 bucks(material plus labor, i would never come back to that place again), then after only one day, light started flashing again. Then I took it to a bodyshop, they said the compressor needed to be replaced, and suggested for a used comprossor to save me money, then I had it replaced for 200 bucks, only after driving a block away the AC light started flashing again. Drove back to the bodyshop, they said it maybe electrical problem. Now i started to think how much i would need to throw into this endless hole. I did some online research and found this website, I am going to try the cluth relay, but I have one question if someone can kindly help, after installing the used compressor, my car started shaking lightly every time i press brake, like when i stop on the stop sign, it would shake, but if i turn the AC off, it gets back to normal. Does anyone know if this has anything to do with the replaced compressor?
