hi, i am looking to buy and import vehicles to my country form USA. Does anybody know the procedures.  

depending on which country you are exporting to...

get on the us customs web site... most of the export information is there...

you have to check your end for your countrys import regulations..

it varies a lot..

there are several companys who do auto exporting... most of the time...  you can contact a cargo shipping company... who goes to your nearest port... they will know how to get them in..

there is one problem...  the amount of stolen cars being exported...

containers have been going overseas listed as empty...  but actually had several cars inside...   so customs and various agencys have been searching outgoing containers... there are over 200,000 cars a year stolen just in los angeles county... they have to be somewhere..

when worked for the restoration shop.. it was just a call away to export to asia and europe...    drive the car to the freight company.. drop it off..  they did the paperwork...  

you can use a company called export trader (www.exporttrader.com), they can help you out in purchasing the cars from the auction and they also export the cars to your country.  

Or you can use a company called Direct Auto Export (www.directautoexport.com)they can help you with shipping a cars and buying. You can buy cars from auctions by your self.Good Luck
