In the world of supercars are fierce competitors that will annihilate any lowsy hybrid that stands in the way. Today we speak about a well known Pony and a Rookie coming to play. I speak of course about the 2009 Pagani Zonda and the 2009 Lamborghini Murcielago LP640.

The 2009 Pagani Zonda is a newcomer that has really impressed everyone. With the Zonda comes a 7.3L V12 engine capable of producing 678hp and 575 lb of torque. This makes the Zonda have a top speed of 217mph and can leave all you mercedes and bmw's in the dust. The price is no ordinary price either as its well over a million. Total price for this lightning car is 1,565,000. Any buyers?

However, though the Zonda may have the speed and price of a million dollar house, the 2009 Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 has the reputation and experience behind its style. With the Lambo you get a 6.5L V12 engine producing 632hp and 487lb of torque. This makes the Lambo get a top speed of 205mph. Clearly this would leave Mercedes and BMW's behind in the dust as well. The one great advantage of this Lambo over the Zonda though...is the price. Total price for the Lambo is 358,000 dollars.
