I drive a 03 Dodge Stratus Sedan and it's been kind of hard to keep it in the lane while on the interstate. Someone told me that I should get a wheel alignment done. However, I am do for a tire rotation in about a month. Should I go ahead and get the alignment done now? Or should I wait until I get a tire rotation done first? I didn't know if getting the tire rotation would throw it back out of alignment or not.
Thanks in advance for your answers! I'm pretty car stupid and appreciate it.

If the problem came on suddenly, it's alignment. If the problem came on gradually, it's alignment. But if the problem has always been there, then it could be either.
Quick check: Have the tires swapped side to side. If the pull changes direction, it's the tires. If the pull doesn't change, then it's alignment. If the pull disappeares, then it's both.
If it turns out it is alignment, then waiting only makes the tires wear more funny. Wait too long and your tires will be ruined and you will have to buy a new set.

A tire rotation will not affect alignment. Did you hit a curb or large pothole? If an alignment issue the car should drift on all roadways. The front tires could ahve developed a radial pull, but that will be noticed after the alignment. Also have the tire pressure checked to make sure 1 tire isn't low.
