Getting a " service 4WD" indicator message.2wd position is on but can not switch to any other modes. Is this a DIY or does it have to go to the shop. Also any ideas on what it could be.Thanks
autozone.com may have repair info on their web site... possibly for an earlier model... which motor... which transmission... i take it that its a 4L60E transmission...eautorepair.net and alldatadiy.com both have that data on their web sites.. but there is a subscription fee... week, month or year...here is a link to some of the trouble codes 4 different sections... thousands of codes.. you will need a scan tool to access them.. and not all scan tools can access other than P codes.. so be careful is you go to buy one... cheep ones start at 80 bucks... and go up to $7,000. for the ultimate professional scan tools... http://www.troublecodes.net/OBD2/Pcodes.shtml power trainhttp://www.troublecodes.net/OBD2/Bcodes.shtml bodyhttp://www.troublecodes.net/OBD2/Ccodes.shtml chassishttp://www.troublecodes.net/OBD2/Ucodes.shtml
