I own a 2000 grand jeep cherokee and I have a weird electrical problem. When it is cold out, usually in the morning, my left directional signal will not work. The right signal works all the time. As the temperature rises, the left signal works. Does anyone have an idea what the problem could be?

check the bulbs... make sure they are properly inserted in the sockets...

then find where the sockets are grounded to the body.. usually within sight when you pull a tail light housing...  the fronts grounds are usually on the core support someware...

remember... the electrons from from ground through the bulb .. then to the switch,,, the flasher, and on...

it is also possible that the flasher is going bad...

turn on the hazard flashers... see if all 4 corners light up the same brightness... got a dim one... bad ground..

when you turn on the head lights... does one of the dash board turn signal arrows light up until you turn on the turn signal in that direction... that indicates a bad ground up front...

turn on the head lights...   stand behind the car... have someone step on the brake pedal...   does only one side work as it should... the weird working side has a bad ground.. or a bad socket...
