Hello, I have a 1993 C4 Corvette.. I just recently discovered a new problem. My battery was dead one day so I jumped it, it started up and ran fine. The next day it was dead again so I thought ok, I have a parasitic leak and I checked everything but everything was fine. I jumped the car again and took it for a quick spin.. then parked and turned the car off, I tried starting it again instantly and the battery was dead again. My father told me that my battery or alternator could be dead, but he isnt a mechanic. So before i spend money to replace my alternator and battery I was wondering if anyone on here could please help me out ASAP and maybe give me a diagnosis and some advice. Thanks!

I don't know how far you are from a parts store, but you could jump the car again, and drive it to a parts store and they will check both the battery and alternator for you. Really it could be either one. If you can't drive it , remove the battery and have it tested, if it is good then maybe it just might be the alternator.

it takes more than a jump to charge a discharged battery...
on a battery that has just been discharged in the last day or two... put it on the charger at 10 amps for 2 to 3 hours..
any battery that has sat discharged for longer than 2 days.. put it on at 2 amps for 10 to 12 hours..
there are so many things on cars that can drag a battery down...
but you cannot test it properly if the battery is discharged... and it really takes a while to recharge it...
DO NOT expect the OEM alternator to recharge a totally discharged battery... it may damage it.. or shorten its life...
one more thing.. examine the ends of the battery case... if they are pushed out and bulging .. time to replace the battery..
also when you have the cables off... be sure to examine inside the plastic surround... back the side terminal screw out of the terminal. clean it .. a stainless steel tooth brush... and HOT WATER..

Sounds like a bad battery, if it was the alt the car wouldn't run very long after you jumped it. Either way the sounds the battery is dead, so I would start there. Is it the orginal battery and does the car sit allot? Most batteries last about 5 years and even shorter if the car sits for long periods of time.
