Hey, First time car buyer here looking for advice on what car I should get.
Not really sure what I'm looking for, just a small car with good MPG rating, and at a reasonable price.  Any advice you can give is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

If you were looking for American I would avoid Chrysler and GM at this point. Ford is still doing well and seems to be ok. I would look towards a small Ford product or Toyota and or Honda. Of course Honda is more costly than Ford or Toyota. One very important thing to is review each of the given warranties. Most manufacturers are offering longer warranties which is a huge plus when making an overall decision.

I would also advise staying away from Chrysler. GM may not be a bad move as you may be able to get a great deal right now. Honda and Toyaota offer great product, but the price point is slighlty high.

I would recommend looking at the Hyundai Elantra. It is a very good car for the money and Hyundai offers great warranties. If you need something a bit bigger check out the Sonata as well.

If you have questions about financing let me know.

If you're looking for maximum return for your dollar, look for almost any 2-3 year-old Honda or Toyota with under 10K miles, and let someone else eat most of the depreciation off the lot.

If you want new, then it's a Honda Fit - Every reviewer who's driven it raves, and they're right ... .
