Hi!

I currently own a 1996 Honda Accord with 143,000 miles.  Runs great (bad squeaks over bumps though), but cosmetically it's looking bad.  The interior roof is crumbling and cracked, the back bumper is crushed in, and the sun damage to the paint is noticeable on the roof, engine, and doors.  No rust damage or any other engine problems.

My parents are thinking of selling their 00 Lincoln LS, with leather, sunroof, etc.  140,000 miles, for $4500.  They think there is sometimes a rubber smell after driving it long distances.  Cosmetically gorgeous, might need engine repair in a year.

Does the 1996 Accord have longer to go than the 00 LS?  I look like such a poor college kid driving the Accord that I'm truly tempted, but if you've got an opinion please voice it!!
