87000 miles.
When accelerating slowly, seems to have trouble changing gears. If accelerating fast no Issue.

The 2000 models had a new design govenor pressure sensor that I think fails as bad if not worse than the old design. Have it checked with a scanner.

our trouble sounds similar to ramos1's
our 2000 dodge ram seems to be spinning more rpm than it needs to be
while idling we have an increase in rpm ... we were told that the tranny is shot but we think it could just be a sensor with the computer that is on the fritz
our ram nearly has 200 000 on it so we've expected what problems have come about and even replaced the tranny at around 130 000 miles
any info would be helpful
