I currently have a '96 Volvo 850. I love Volvos, their handling, their safety.
Anything I need to know in terms of issues with this model I'm considering purchasing? Here's what I know:
2000 S80 T6
tiptronic transmission
leather seats
sunroof
power everything
75 500 miles (perhaps its a US car 'cause its in miles?)
new timing belt (?) Oct '08
They are asking about $5500. Thanks for any insight!

If its mileage is in miles, then it's definetly a car from the States or from Canada.
If you plan buying a Volvo I suggest you to visit http://www.volvo-dealers.com in the United States website and check up the dealership reviews before taking a decision

I know this is a little late, but the 99-01 S80's had many problems. I hope you didn't buy it.

Though it is a bit older but if you find it in a good condition then I will suggest you to buy it. Check engine and suspension properly. But try to negotiate because I feel the asking price is little bit higher.
