Hi everyone I am in the market for a sports coupe for the summer. Found a great deal on it aswell. I went through many different loans to finance this vehicle, best part is I pass credit every time and get the loan! They then tell me: "you are approved for the amount of $30,000 such as you desire sir. As long as the car is between 2002 and 2009 with possibility of warranty." Here is the thing the car is a 2002. I am buying it from a dealer which in turns; I am buying the warranty for 2 years which is included in the price. Doesn't seem to be a problem here is there? Now here is the problem. When they ask me what car I am going to purchase. I let them know it is a 2002 BMW M3. All of a sudden, they say they will not finance that vehicle. I CAN GET A 2006 BMW and they are ready to go with the financing. I don't get it? I have amazing credit apparently and it just seems that they just don't want to fincance that car. If I were to get a brand new Civic I would have gotten it. Even a normal 3series 2006-07 BMW I would get the financing. Now I want this M3. I don't want anything else. I already daily drive an Audi 2006 A4, so I don't want anything else but this sports coupe. Is there anyway for me to get this veh?
The reason they won't give you the money is the book value on that car is only $18-$22k.
