Hello all,I am new to the forums, but I hope someone can help me with a problem. I drive a 1995 Toyota Avalon, and I backed into a larger-than-average concrete curb yesterday. Immediately after this, my car began making a grinding/vibrating sound when I add power or make a turn (you can feel some vibration as well). The vibration is not always there, but it is definitely something that didn't exist beforehand. I cannot find any visual clues of damage, but do any of you have any idea what may have broken? Thanks in advance for your help!
Wonder if when the curb was hit it didn't push the body of the vehicle in.So that when you accelerate the forward force is pushing everything to the rear which is close in tolerances now. And the same thing for making the turn the body is too close and hitting. I would ask around amongest friends for a recommendation for a good body shop (not the dealer) who can at it for you. Most shops would peek, me thinks and give an estimate. carsw (Would like to know the end solution for the vibrations.)
