I have a 2004 Audi Allroad that is now out-of-warranty.  I purchased the extended warranty because I didn't have a clear picture of Audi's track record. It appears to be worthless. In the past several months, my sunroof has leaked and caused considerable damage.  Even though Audi recognized it was a frame defect they would only cover 1/2 of the repair cost. In addition, Cal-Tex protective sealant was applied at the time of purchase. There is horrible ghosting on the entire hood and you can see tape marks along the perimeter of the top of the car.  Claim to Cal-Tex denied.   Not a fading problem they state and their warranty doesn't cover it.  It's my problem. Why don't these companies stand behind their products?

You should check that whether it will fall under the warranty cover or not. They just can't simply tell that this is not covered. If you have extended service warranty then it will definitely falls under it.
