I have a '93 Jeep wrangler and the belts are fine, the battery is fine, the starter is fine, the fuel filter was replaced, the spark plugs were replaced, and everything seems fine. The thing runs fine for awhile, and then it just quits. Give it an hour or two and it starts again and runs for a half hour. this is driving me crazy! Does anyone know what this could be? the computer maybe? I've never seen this before...
Thank you for your prompt replies and suggestions...

I'm *** that you get it up to operating temperature when this occurs. If so, At that point I would check to see if you have spark and fuel, in other words as soon as it dies. Then go from there.

I am not sure but I believe that has a crank positon sensor to trigger the ignition. If it does check that. Had an 89 Cherokee 4.0 sounds like the same problem. It is usually mounted in the bellhousing.
