I'm looking for an '04 or '05 3/4 ton truck with a diesel engine. Which truck should I buy? The truck will be used for a 20 mile roundtrip work commute and weekend hauling of a 3 horse trailer. Which has best engine, reliability, etc.... Thank you.

The Ford 350 is a real work horse. Excuse the expression. I know quite a few guys that have them and have well over 150,000 miles on them with no issues.

THEY JUST DID A TEST BETWEEN THE DODGE CHEVY AND FORD TRUCKS OF THIS CATORGY.. IN THE END I THINK ITS YOUR OWN PERSONAL PERFENCE...BUT HERE ARE THE TEST RESULTS...DODGE GREAT TRUCK CANT TOW FIFTH WHEEL TRAILERS...THE BED IS TOO SHORT AND ITS SLOW----THE CHEVY IS THE FASTEST..BUT HAS THE LOWEST TOWING/BED CAPABILITY---THE FORD HAS GOOD INTERIOR...GOOD HAULING CAPABILITY AND A SMOOTH RIDE---THE DODGE PLACED FIRST.....FORD SECOND...AND CHEVY THIRD
[I KNOW THE WRITE UP FOR THE DODGE WASNT GOOD BUT IT WON ON GREAT INTERIOR AND LARGEST TRAILER[NON FIFTH WHEEL]CAPABLITY AND GOOD RIDE QUALITY

I would like to suggest you Mahindra Navistar truck. I am very impressed with the new Mahindra Navistar as I found the interior is very impressive and comfortable. There is more legroom than I need at 6 feet tall. I am so confident in the quality of the Navistar and none of my three has had maintenance issues beyond the normal problems associated with any Truck.

GMC Sierra is the best truck to buy. I would get a 2007 model or later and of course get a 4X4. Two wheel drive trucks are worthless.

For trucks I always suggest Ford and Chevy. Few options you might look:
1: Ford F-150 2: Ford Super Duty 3: Chevy Colorado 4: Chevy Silverado 5: Chevy Avalanche

I am a truck driver, I was put into a Mahindra Navistar for about 200,000 miles. I am a big fan of Mahindra Navistar. This truck is solid and tight. On-road driving was a positive experience with smooth, spunky acceleration and responsive brakes.

Dodge trucks seem to produce very powerful trucks. Chevy and Fords, too. You've got a lot of choice. Find the one that's best for your budget. fifth wheel hitch

I think Ford 350 is one of the best option according to requirements. I know number of friends who have Ford 350 and satisfied with it. So, maximum positive reviews are given for Ford. So, you can go for it.
