So my beloved Jeep Grand Wagoneer (1993  ) finally died, I mean literally died in my driveway and I need to get a new car FAST. I have $10000 to put down in cash and want to keep the price under 16000 take home price. I know it is cheap, but the next car I buy will be the one I really want (subaru forester).
For that price should I just go for a used car or should I try a cheap new car. The ford fusion is pretty low right now.
Any suggestions on cars to look into? Thanks for your help.

Shop around and look at both used and new.
Compare the two and see what you come up with.
You might get more value with a used car.
