I have been leasing a 2005 Pontiac G6 since 11/04. At 20,000 miles my tires need to be replaced.
Could you please provide me any feedback you might have on the wear of the Pontiac G6 tires?
Thank you, Colleen

I can't speak for the specifics of the tires. I can however tell you that is customary for new cars to get around that mileage. They are selling you a car and not trying to sell you the best tires for it. Most people you talk to will probably tell you that they got 20 to 30 k miles out of the factory set of tires. This is providing that air pressure, rotation and allinement were taken care of.

Thanks for responding!
Is that the case even when my tires are to get an average of 60k?
Thanks, Colleen

What they are rated is only a guide line, just like the MPG stats on a new car window sticker. How you drive, where and what road conditions you drive on and how well you maintained them, only you can answer that.I've had 80,000 mile garanteed tires that were maintained excellantly that wor out at 30,000 miles, got pro-rated replacements.
