I'm seriously considering purchasing a 2004, Nissan Titan, V8. The truck has side bars, brush guard, and new tires. Looks and seems to run great. The only drawback is the truck has 102,000 miles on it and the warranty has expired. The dealer is offering a 3rd party Warranty company for an additional $1000 and it covers 5 years, or 100,000 miles.

I do NOT drive any of my vehicles hard and my commute to work is less than 10 miles daily - round trip.

My question is, would I be crazy to purchase a vehicle with this many miles? Also, the warranty as well. Anyone have any good advise on the 04 Nissan Titan, experiences?

I look on Kelly Blue Book and the price the dealer is asking is spot on the blue book price.

Please advise!
