I'm trying to get the power steering pump off a 4.1 L V8 on a 1984 Cadillac Fleetwood. I can't do it! It seems to be bolted right into the engine from behind the pulley. Does the pulley come off? how? Or the bracket is part of the engine mount? Can anyone tell me home to get it off so I can get to the water pump? Thank you.

yes.. you have to use a power steering pulley puller to get the pulley off...
and an installer to put it back on...
most stores have those tools for loan... or purchase..
