These guys make you think you are cherry picking their stock before they wholesale to dealers and exporters by claiming to be only open to the public 8 days per month, by appointment.

They take deposits, tell you you have 3 days to have your mechanic inspect the car and test drive it, but once you hand over the cash deposit and sign the receipt (which is the NASTIEST contract I have ever seen - I am surprised it's legal) the car is yours.  The only recourse if you decide not to buy it is to walk away from your deposit.

 I implore anyone who may be reading this posting to visit our website and read the “About Us” page. UltimateCarDeal.Com is only open to the public 8 days per month, by appointment only. We are VERY up-front about what we offer and what we expect of both parties PRIOR to looking at the vehicles. The owner speaks with everyone when they arrive, explaining how the process works & what to expect. At that time, he also gets very detailed about what the conditions are regarding a deposit. He explains, in no uncertain terms, “PLEASE DO NOT leave a deposit if you are unsure weather or not you want to own this vehicle. We don’t have “sales people” and no one will try and sell you anything. We treat you like dealers, and ask that you return that respect by NOT leaving a deposit on a vehicle that you aren’t sure about.” We give a 3-Day Inspection Period allowing time for you to have the vehicle inspected by the mechanic of your choice BEFORE YOU COMPLETE ANY PURCHASE to insure that there are no major mechanical defects. Had there been a mechanical problem with the vehicle, no problem, we would have gladly returned his money. However, last Saturday, once we gave Joseph William Schuller III access to our 100 vehicles, along with about 20 other people, he pushed through those people and slammed his driver license down on the hood in order to keep anyone else from getting inside the car. We again went over the conditions of the sale and under what conditions. He agreed to all the terms and again thanked us for the “great deal”. He set an appointment to have it inspected & take delivery of the car on Tuesday @ 5:30PM per his request.

We held that vehicle from 3 other sales and were upholding our end of the agreement, when Joe called to say that he just didn’t want to go through with the deal because his mechanic doesn’t like “German Cars”. He left us a message that says, and I quote, “ Hi, this is Joe, I left a non-refundable deposit on the Audi A4. I would like to arrange to get a full refund on my non-refundable deposit”. Should anyone else out there find that to be unbelievable, PLEASE call us and we would be happy to play the message for you, as it has been saved as one of the most ridiculous messages we’ve ever heard.

We have been in business since 2001 and have doubled our business every year since due to our incredible repeat customer and referral base. This is the ONLY place in Florida that places a 90-DAY WARRANTY on EVERY vehicle in stock, regardless of year or mileage! We only sell cars we are willing to back-up with said warranty & offer many extension options on those service agreements. I agree, Joe was out of line by requesting a refund of non-refundable monies (if that was the agreement) but I can see by the "not so good post" that returning the money would have been in your best interest.

People like Joe, that feels he went on the proverbial car salesmen ride talks to many people and I bet it's not in a positive way either.  

I think by returning the money you would have done two things,

*You'd of made Joe a customer by being willing to negotiate that money towards another car instead of keeping it.

(and)

*You wouldn't be posting here to try and keep your reputation from being smeared.

Thanks for the post... Ready for this??? WE DID OFFER TO LET HIM FLIP TO ANOTHER ONE OF OUR 100 CARS! Even though the agreement says he must stay with that car, we offered to let him choose something else in stock, without penalty, if he would be happier at the end of the day... He refused.  

As for just "refunding the money".... after everything we explained to him PRIOR to leaving the deposit & the fact that we are only open to the public 8 days per month and that tied up our funds for an 1/8 of our month.... I sleep great at night knowing that we were completely up-front with him and warned against him doing exactly this.

We do good business, never shady....

Well I wouldn't believe much of anything Ultimate car Deals / CashOnlyAuto.Com has  to say they completely RIPPED me off with a Land Rover I bought from them.  The vechicle needed a complete Transmission overhaul that I had to relpace costing over $4300. Had bad airbags, leaking radiator, brake master cylinder, let me finish the rest in a list.
1)Transmission overhaul
2)Brake master cylinder
3)Bad Radiator
4)Bad battery cables
5)Bad airbags suspension(with missing compressor)
6)Vechicle had been previously involved in a wreck and the bumper had loose pins holding it in place  instead of bolts holding it in place.
7)Vechicle alarm did not work nor NONE of the door locks
8)Needed all new hoses and Belt

What a Headache ..


They would not let me have the vechicle inspected and READ THE FINE PRINT in the so called WARRANTY....I learned a HUGE LESSON But It cost me BIG BUYER BEWARE !!!  

I feel for you but the lesson you should have learned is read the agreement. I'll tell you one thing, if someone told me that I had to pay cash or that I couldn't have it inspected, well they'd be watching my back side walk away real fast.

Never do business that way, you as a buyer must make the buy, don't let the salesman sell you the car, they typically push you into buying it, for me that's another sign to get the heck out of there.

The other thing I see in your post is all the stuff that was wrong with it, didn't you inspect it prior to purchasing it? Should have!

People If you are reading this please never believe the seller, they would do anything to sell a car. This people rip me off too they make everything sound nice 3 month warranty, which you pay ( you pay 679 in fees) and they tell Its going to cover everything, You wont have to pay anything, not true, the 3 months warranty with that ¨Prestigious¨ Company from NY, only covers $500 what part of a tranny can a fix for that amount.

In my case the car I bought had a bad tranny and I told them, but they gang up against me saying that I was no mechanic to say that the car was not working and I couldnt get one that day because is was a holiday they told me to take the car to AMCCO to some Jim guy that they knew but he didnt lie he told me that the car had a salvage tranny on it, and he was the one who put it in. I was mad. I know that there is no lemon law in FL for used cars but there are laws against FRAUD,  and that is what they are, it might take me a while, but the end they will pay for the tranny or return my money + the lawyer expenses. Lets see what happens in the next few months.

Anyways take our word they are vultures waiting to rip you off. You see how they end their post ¨sincerely¨ they dont even know the meaning of that word, and by the way those replies of people defending them, please dont fall for that, its them, dah!!.

Used car dealer is sued over warranty woes

A Pompano Beach used car dealer was sued Monday by the state attorney general's office Monday after a series of customer complaints that cars sold by the dealer broke down soon after they were purchased and had warranties that promised more than they delivered.

An investigation by the attorney general's economic crimes division found that Hollywood Auto Gallery sold vehicles claimed to be under under warranty -- but the coverage was only good for about $500 worth of repairs. Owner Zachary S. Kessler allegedly took deposits from customers who wanted to have cars inspected before buying them, but then told the potential buyers they were obligated to buy the cars because they had made a deposit -- regardless of the what the mechanics found.

Kessler did not return phone messages seeking comment Monday.

Customers also complained that Kessler sold cars that would break down just a few miles from the car lot, had worn out transmissions and engines in need of complete overhauls. But customers said they couldn't get refunds from Kessler. Ads for Kessler's businesses also offer free CarFax vehicle history reports, but the suit alleges customers didn't receive these.

The advertisements also describe Hollywood Auto Gallery as being open to the public only eight days a month. The rest of the time, the business caters to other car dealers, wholesalers and exporters, the ads state.

``We don't have salesmen or closers,'' the ads read, ``so don't expect brown-nosing sales managers or four hours of our attention. It's not going to happen.''

The lawsuit aims to shut down the company as well as several related businesses, including UltimateCarDeal.com, CashOnlyAuto.com and CheapestCarsInFlorida.com and prevent Kessler from selling used cars in the future. He would also have to pay $10,000 to $15,000 for each violation of the Florida Unfair and Deceptive Trade Practices law and reimburse customers.
